Only non-incarcerated Muslim U.S. citizens and permanent residents are eligible to apply.
The application forms for the July 2023-June 2024 application cycle are now available. If you haven’t received a FEF grant in 2021-22 or 2022-23, use the form for New Recipients. If you have received a grant in 2021-22 or 2022-23, use the Renewal Application form. The deadline for submission for both applications is May 31, 2023.
Track your application’s status using your FEF ID on the New Applications Tracker or the Renewal Applications Tracker, as appropriate. Awards are announced in mid-July, 2023.
Reminders for the 2023-24 application cycle are distributed via e-mail and SMS/text messages. You can also text @2023-24 to the number 81010 or (774) 353-0907.
Grantees for 2022-23 were announced in July 2022. Use your FEF ID to check this spreadsheet if you’ve submitted a renewal form and this spreadsheet if you’ve submitted a new application. You will not receive an individualized notification. If you are selected, you must follow these instructions before any money is disbursed.
The awards are sent directly to the educational institution. The duration of the award is one academic year. Recipients are encouraged to re-apply in subsequent years. Grantees have a lifetime award limit.
